Luis Suarez has paid tribute to Steven Gerrard ahead of the midfielder's departure from Liverpool, describing himself as proud to have played with a "legend".
The 34-year-old confirmed on Friday that he will not renew his Reds contract, ending a 25-year association with his boyhood club, and is thought to be interesting a number of Major League Soccer clubs.
Suarez, who played alongside Gerrard for three-and-a-half years, has called his time alongside the ex-England man among the "best" of his career and wrote of his admiration for his achievements.
Gerrard has won 10 trophies during his time at Anfield, including the FA Cup twice and the Champions League once.
