Cruzeiro sporting director Alexandre Mattos says he has held "a very firm talk" with Real Madrid target Lucas Silva over his future.
The 21-year-old has caught the attention of the European champions thanks to his performances in the Brasileirao and has been linked with a €15 million move, though president Florentino Perez has made it clear no transfer will take place until the summer.
Mattos, however, is adamant that Lucas Silva is not unhappy that the potential move has not yet materialised and has made it clear to the midfielder that he should show respect to the Brazilian champions.
"No player is dissatisfied within our set-up," he told O Tempo. "I had a very firm talk with him [Lucas Silva] and his agent.
"I looked him right in the eye and told him that everyone understands where they are. Cruzeiro are also a great global club."
A Brazil youth international, Lucas Silva has played 66 games for Cruzeiro since making his debut in 2012, helping the club to back-to-back Brazilian titles.
