On the 23rd of May 2015, the current Miss Heritage Nigeria, Queen Benedicta Akpana stormed the Abuja NYSC camp to celebrate cultural/carnival day with the Youth Corp members. The Beauty Queen was celebrated and honoured on arrival at the venue of the event with her manager. After which they went on a procession with the FCT coordinator Mr Olanipekun Alao, former FCT coordinator Mr Frank Ekpunobi, Representative of the NYSC director Mr Fasanu, Lieutenant col. 37th Anniversary of Santiago Bernabéu's death - Legend live forever

He was president of Real Madrid for over three decades, during which time the club consolidated its place as a benchmark in world football.

On 2 June 1978, Santiago Bernabéu died in Madrid aged 82. During his time in office as president, Real Madrid grew a lot in terms of both sport and as an institution. The greatest successes came in La Liga and the European Cup, a competition he helped to start up. As well as being a president, Santiago Bernabéu was also a player, coach and director at the club.

Born in Almansa (Albacete) on 8 June 1895, he took up the Real Madrid presidency in 1943. Among his big initiatives was the construction of the Nuevo Chamartín, opened in 1947 and renamed in his honour years later. On a sporting level, the football and basketball teams both became the best sides in the world.

From 1943 to 1978, the Real Madrid football team won 6 European Cups, 1 International Cup, 2 Latin Cups, 2 Small World Cups, 16 La Liga titles and 6 Copa del Rey titles. The basketball side's list of titles comprised 6 European Cups, 3 Intercontinental Cups, 1 Latin Cup, 19 La Liga titles and 18 Copa del Rey titles.

Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to President Buhari, Shehu Garba says ongoing cleaning and refurbishment has prevented President Buhari to move into his official residence in Asovilla days after he was sworn in as President.

"As far as the President is concerned, the place (his official residence) is not ready yet. Workers are cleaning and refurbishing the place. Once the exercise is completed, the President will move in.”he said
